time's knife cut in again
taking the life
of one of my friends
tonight
death's angel came to him
passing through this veil of sin
with her tender kiss
his spirit left him
she carried his breath
his intensity and light
towards the perfect life
that Jesus made for us
beautiful and sinless
wonderful and graceful
for God's faithful.....
